A look back at Impact Day 2025

Nordic Hemp at Impact Day 2025
Impact Day 2025

Last week, in Tallinn, the business-world turned its attention to a powerful question: “What is the real price of doing business right?” That was the driving force behind the Impact Day 2025 conference — an event bringing together more than 150 speakers from 30 countries, and an expo area with approximately 40 booths focused on ethical growth, resilience, and long-term profitability.

We at Nordic Hemp (and our CEO, Ardi Oja) were proud to be part of this movement. Here’s what this important event was about — and why it matters for our mission.

What was Impact Day about?

Impact Day positions itself as the “leading business event on ethical growth and long-term profitability”. Its core themes included:

  • Embedding integrity into business operations so that reputation becomes a key asset.
  • Building resilient business models that can anticipate regulatory, social and investor pressures.
  • Enabling connection and collaboration among impact-driven leaders, entrepreneurs, and the public sector.

The event wasn’t only about inspiration; it also featured practical sessions: workshops, panels, and case-studies offering tools and frameworks.

For companies like Nordic Hemp, whose operations span sustainable agriculture, processing and global exports, this forum was a superb intersection of values and practical business strategy.

Why the timing is right for Nordic Hemp

As part of the Nordic Hemp industry, we’re operating in a space where sustainability, circular economy, and regenerative agriculture are not just buzzwords — they are core to the value chain. When Ardi Oja took the stage, it wasn’t simply to talk about hemp, but to situate our company’s work within the broader context of ethical business, transparency and value-driven growth.

The fact that one of Europe’s most advanced organic hemp producers (Nordic Hemp) was represented on the speaker list underscores how the hemp ecosystem is increasingly part of the responsible-business conversation.

By engaging at Impact Day, we reaffirm that our mission—maximising plant-based protein, seed and oil production, while maintaining zero-waste processing principles—aligns with the future of business: profit with purpose.

Highlights from Nordic Hemp’s participation

  • Ardi Oja on stage: One of the prominent speakers, Ardi represented Nordic Hemp’s journey and vision.
  • Networking & partnerships: The expo arena and side-events offered opportunities to connect with other impact-driven companies, policy-makers, and potential collaborators.
  • Amplification of values: Through his speech, Ardi was able to advocate for the hemp-sector’s role in sustainable food systems, circular bio-economies and European self-sufficiency.
  • Thought leadership: This event positioned Nordic Hemp not just as an agricultural company, but as a thought-leader in how business models can evolve in the 21st-century.

Key take-aways for our industry & community

  1. Integrity = long-term ROI. The shift from profit-only metrics to metrics rooted in trust, transparency and sustainability is real and growing.
  2. Resilience matters. Businesses must design operations to anticipate change – whether regulatory, environmental or societal.
  3. Collaboration over competition. Many of the workshops and sessions stressed that impact-driven firms benefit from shared learnings and networks, not isolation.
  4. Hemp has a seat at the table. As Nordic Hemp’s involvement shows, sectors that were once peripheral (like hemp) are now central to conversations about sustainability and circular economy.

What comes next for Nordic Hemp & you

Having taken part in Impact Day, Nordic Hemp is energised to continue:

  • Enhancing our sustainability credentials and zero-waste operations
  • Deepening partnerships within the broader bio-economy and sustainable-food ecosystem
  • Sharing our story and best practices publicly — because business models built on values need to be visible

For our community—investors, partners, customers, and followers—this participation is an invitation: join us in shaping a future where business success is measured not only in revenue, but in integrity, resilience and positive impact.
